This course will provide strategies and information on the many
aspects of behavioral health considerations for patients and staff. This
includes strategies for mitigating the potentially harmful
psychological effects of isolation on patients, their families, and the
medical staff who care for them, and strategies to promote the
psychological well-being and resilience of health care workers. Topics
related to the psychological impact of treating infectious diseases and
risk factors for emotional distress are also discussed.
