TARGET AUDIENCE
This accredited continuing education activity is designed for frontline workers, laboratorians, physicians, nurses, and infection preventionists.
EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES
At the conclusion of this enduring material, the participant should be better able to:
- Explain approaches for applying the Identify-Isolate-Inform framework to H5N1.
- Identify recommended Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) practices for H5N1.
- Discuss lab considerations for testing individuals identified as high risk for H5N1.
- Examine H5N1 treatment and care options.
