National Special Pathogen System (NSPS): Path to Preparedness

TARGET AUDIENCE
This accredited continuing education activity is designed for frontline workers, physicians, nurses, and infection preventionists.
EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES
At the conclusion of this enduring material, the participant should be better able to:
- Discuss the organizational framework of the NSPS, including the specific roles within your facility and respective HHS region, and how they contribute to pathogen surveillance, outbreak response, and protection of your community, the patient, and your workforce.
- Explore how some healthcare facilities and public health entities have implemented the NSPS and how they are leveraging relationships and strategies to expand and support their region.
METHOD OF PARTICIPATION
In order to receive a certificate of completion, you must complete these steps.

- Complete the post-test with a score of 2 out of 3 or better,
