This accredited continuing education activity is designed for frontline workers, physicians, nurses, and infection preventionists.
EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES
At the conclusion of this enduring material, the participant should be better able to:
- Review prior experiences of acute remote monitoring for infectious disease.
- Discuss different models and key considerations of home testing and remote patient monitoring (RPM) for high-consequence infectious diseases (HCIDs), including technology requirements, scalability, and jurisdictional challenges.
- Explore ethical, safety, and experience implications of remote monitoring for high consequence infection.
